4. Team Extreme

Sheamus and Cesaro have gained a helpful heel turn from their post-WrestleMania feud with The Hardy Boyz, but have subsequently eaten defeat in every match against them as a result.

Be it hard-fought singles matches or the tag team title shot that triggered the turn, Matt and Jeff have proven their worth over the challengers so many times, it's almost left the younger talents a little too damaged.

The feud has never once disadvantaged the heroes, with the champions literally calling the shots yet again after Matt's clandestine victory over Sheamus.

Selecting a stipulation for what should be their feud-ender at Extreme Rules, the Hardyz inexplicably chose a steel cage, despite forging an entire career as kings of the Ladder Match. You know, the stipulation in play when they won the titles.

If the entire match was shaped around the winners picking the stipulation, why not actually give the challengers the rub of the green for a change? In storyline terms, the increasingly dominant babyfaces have disadvantaged themselves just to make it believable that the completely rudderless heels have a chance of beating them. It's utterly absurd, and a criminal waste of four talented performers giving this garbage their best.
