WWE NXT is currently the hottest thing in wrestling. Fresh off of the fantastic NXT Takeover: Rival and follow-up episode of NXT TV, the wrestling world is buzzing about the promotion. And with good reason: while WWE has stagnated, NXT has flourished by presenting a combination of simplified storylines and cutting-edge wrestling that appeals to longtime fans. Neville was an integral part of both Rival and the episode of NXT TV that followed it. At Rival he wrestled the incredibly talented and super-over Finn Bálow in the finals of the NXT Championship number one contenders tournament. Many thought that the two men had the match of the night and raved about their performances online. The next week on NXT TV Neville had a fantastic, competitive match with new NXT Champion Kevin Owens. Neville may have lost both matches but he put in his trademark flawless performance. Anyone who has been a regular viewer of NXT knows that Neville is one of the groups most consistent performers between the ropes. Neville was absent from NXT's latest batch of TV tapings, fuelling speculation that he could be on his way to Raw and Smackdown in the near future.
