WWE's latest Performance Center influx (the new group joined on in October) included Matt Riddle, Mia Yim and Chelsea Green. The latter two are both former Knockouts Champions in TNA/Impact Wrestling, and they're both expected to make a splash on NXT women's division in the future.

Fans got to know Yim a little better through her work in both Mae Young Classic tournaments, but Green might be a bit less well-known to some. Now she's officially part of the WWE roster, just what do people need to know about the 27-year old Canadian?

She's more than meets the eye, for one.

Green has a deceptively strong grappling background despite never being a wrestling fan as a kid. If that sounds a little confusing, then all will become clear when finding out how she broke into the business. Before that, Green had other interests, and she was already pursuing a much different career.

2019 will be a big year for her. Green has shown on Impact that she has skills WWE will like, and any NXT showings in the near future won't be her first on WWE TV either...
