Natalya has expanded her training horizons by training with Mixed Martial Arts fighters. She's worked with Josh Barnett, who has been in MMA and professional wrestling. She's also trained with Shayna Baszler, Maria Shafir and Jessamyn Duke of the "4 Horsewomen," who along with UFC Champion Ronda Rousey are big pro wrestling fans as well. A big reason why Natalya trained with them is to expand her horizons and get more experience. She did a lot of the training prior to her huge NXT Takeover match back in May that she had against Charlotte. It was the longest match of her career as a WWE diva and she wanted to be in the best shape of her life. She was. The fact that she is willing to train in another discipline just shows her willingness to get better at her job. It doesn't mean she is leaving wrestling. It just means she wants to grow as a performer.
