7. Longer Story Builds
It's ironic, the two week build between recent specials actually worked out quite positive for things like Cena versus Owens. The added pressure meant all the filler was cut, and instead we just had the raw power of the feud across a two week build. But for the under card matches at Money In The Bank, the two week build was a serious detriment. WWE didn't have the time or attention to script out any flesh on the lesser bouts. So when the Prime Time Players defeated New Day for the tag titles at MITB, it just felt a little flat and random. WWE must utilise the full advantage of a five week build for Battleground. The main events will sell themselves, but the undercard needs far more development on Raw over the coming weeks.
