10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jim Ross

1. Dr. Hiney And Nurse Slobberknockers Perform "Surgery" On JR's Ass

http://youtu.be/DVaj31J18AU In October 2005, Ross needed colon surgery. Thankfully it wasn't cancerous, but he had to take care of it. He had to take some time off from working. The storyline explanation was that he was fired by Linda McMahon (we covered that earlier) and in reality, WWE tried to hire UFC's Mike Goldberg as their play by play guy. When Goldberg turned them down, they went with Joey Styles until JR returned in the spring of 2006 and then as a full timer in May of 2006. If you have an employee at home that is nursing an injury you might send them a gift or do something to make them feel better. Not in WWE. Two weeks after Ross was storyline fired, Vince McMahon did a sketch mocking JR on the October 24, 2005 edition of Raw. McMahon appeared in a segment as "Dr. Hiney" while he had a big breasted nurse named "Nurse Slobberknockers" with an S at the end of it because JR was known for saying "slobberknocker" a lot. Since women's breasts are jokingly referred to as "knockers" that's where they got the name from. All we could see was a black cowboy hat on a patient's table while McMahon was on the other end where the ass was. During the segment, McMahon said they had a "crack" staff on hand to do the colonoscopy. There were farting noises, there were other comedic noises including the Oklahoma fight song and various JR quotes throughout. Dr. Hiney yanked out the following objects: BBQ sauce, a football, an owl, a prosthetic hand ("Mae Young's other hand"), a goldfish and an Oklahoma football helmet. McMahon also comically used a drill to open him up some more. He yanked out a Stone Cold water bottle, which led to "Stone Cold" audio played some more. The Jaws of Life were also used. Finally, they yanked out the head of JR so McMahon could say that JR had his own head up his ass. The skit ended with Dr. Hiney putting Nurse Slobberknockers on the operating table, her moaning "oh yes" and a JR voice said: "My God, look at the carnage here." What was the point of the skit? There was none although McMahon probably thought it was funny even if nobody else did. It's not like JR was going to come back to get revenge on him for pulling things out of his ass in a bad comedy skit. The whole thing lasted seven minutes. Brutal television. Needless to say, Dr. Hiney and Nurse Slobberknockers gave wrestling fans one of the most embarrassingly bad segments in the history of WWE TV.
