10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bayley

1. Being "Too Nice" To Use Weapons

The problems with that Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss feud didn't end at 'This Is Your Life'. There was more clumsy storytelling to come, and more sh*t-show booking that put a strain on Bayley's kinship with fans.

Heading into Extreme Rules 2017, Bayley and Bliss set up a Vince Russo-pleasing 'Kendo Stick On A Pole' match. The rules were simple: Bayley or Alexa would be able to scale the pole, grab the weapon and batter one another senseless with it.

Not Bayley though. She's too nice for that sort of thing. Huh?

Yes, the idea that Bayley, even after Bliss had ridiculed her for weeks and attacked her with a kendo stick, was too wholesome for such violence was the crux of this tale. To say it didn't work would be a gross understatement. Once again, WWE made the babyface of the piece look like an unrealistic, goody-two-shoes idiot.
