10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Damien Sandow

9. Michelle McCool's 'Teacher's Pets'

After a few years spent in OVW as Aaron 'Idol' Stevens, the man who would become Sandow was eventually called up to SmackDown along with new tag team partner KC James. As with many first time call-ups the gimmick the duo were saddled with wasn't the strongest. Sure, they had the future Mrs. Undertaker (Michelle McCool) to valet them, but they were presented as her 'Teacher's Pets'. It didn't make much sense then, it doesn't make much sense now.

One thing the duo did have going for them was that they arrived on SmackDown in 2007, when the WWE tag scene was at its fairly depressing lowest. Paul London and Brian Kendrick were fantastic champions, but it seemed that not a season would pass without a team making their debut, becoming #1 contenders, losing their shot and disappearing.

Stevens and James were just like this. Less than three months later, the Teacher's Pets were back at school in OVW. If you were wondering what happened to KC James, his last match in WWE came in a losing effort against Braden Walker, of all people.
