So Mr. Ambrose has a few embarrassing past instances. Who'd have known...?

Dean Ambrose is portrayed by WWE as a true wildman; an unorthodox, badass babyface capable of doing anything at anytime. Despite this, whenever his real-life exploits have skirted a little too close to the bone, the company have been only too quick to hush everything up. Compared to a lot of superstars, Ambrose's record is fairly clean. He's never violated the wellness policy or suffered a highly-publicised run-in with the law - but that doesn't mean he's an advocate of the straight-and-narrow lifestyle. Not by a long shot. A veteran of the independent scene, Ambrose (then known as Jon Moxley) has a wealth of life experience to look back upon.

Something of a party animal in his younger days, many stories have been told in shoot interviews regarding Dean's antics - although not every controversial moment revolves around alcohol or sex. Ambrose's time in WWE developmental is a similarly bizarre one, despite his consistent excellence in the ring. There's a reason his FCW exploits are rarely touched upon at all; from matches against blackballed superstars to aborted storylines, they add to Ambrose's personal collection of moments WWE want us all to forget.
