10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Lana

Let's just pretend none of this ever happened...

The halcyon days of Lana and Rusev as a dominant heel package (sneering spokesperson and vicious "Super Athlete") are very much over in WWE.

Since debuting on the main roster alongside her man in 2014, Lana has been continually undermined by WWE's creative meddling. Sure, such perfect, business-like presentation of the stunning blonde was never going to last forever, but Lana's character has been changed dramatically over the past four years, and not always for the better.

In an era when WWE's obsession with reality TV shows like Total Divas has been plain for all to see and the company have morphed into one more willing to push serious, indy-style action, it's actually quite unique for someone to play such a defined character; there aren't many in WWE right now who put on a fake accent for the cameras, put it that way.

Lana is a fascinating subject then, and it's a shame there's so much her employers would like fans to forget about her run. To that point, there's a lot about her non-PG pre-wrestling career that WWE would probably like to put in a box and pretend never happened too...
