8. She Won $10,000 For Charity By Competing On Fear Factor
During the height of the Attitude Era, Vince McMahon was (and still is) pushing his WWE talent into the mainstream to gain exposure to his company and its product.It wasn't unusual to see a WWE star turn up on a chat show to promote the next PPV. What's a little less usual is booking wrestlers to perform on a game show! On February 25, 2002, a handful of his roster took part in an episode of Fear Factor, in which they each had to complete a terrifying or horrific challenge in order to progress to the final and scoop $50,000 for their chosen charities. Matt & Jeff Hardy, Lita, Test, Molly Holly and Jacqueline all took part in the show. You can probably still track down this particular episode of TV, but for the sake of this article heres a brief rundown of what Molly and the others had to endure. The first task was climbing a ladder into a moving helicopter over choppy sea. Then they were asked to chow down on pig brains and other nasty foodstuffs. The third challenge involved grabbing flags from a dangerously high altitude. Mat won the contest, defeating Jaqueline in the final, while Molly was eliminated after refusing to eat the pigs brains. She won $10,000 for reaching the second round and donated it to the Prison Fellowship Ministries.
