6. Came Up With The Molly-Go-Round Moments Before Her Match
Molly might have one of the coolest looking finishing moves in the business during the Attitude Era. The Molly-Go-Round, a front flip into a seated senton off the top turnbuckle, looks and probably feels pretty painful when connecting full-force, but the move very nearly didnt exist at all. Earlier in the day, Molly had promised Vince McMahon she would debut her finishing move on that evenings broadcast against Trish Stratus. However, after trying several times to land what she describes as a 'full twisting moonsault', it was a suggestion from Dean Malenko which saved the day. After telling her he had just watched Rey Mysterio pull off a very neat looking front flip hurricanrana, The Iceman said: What if you just did a front flip and land on them?. So thats what she did. I think Trish might have been the first one to take the Molly-Go-Round, but it was really Dean Malenkos idea to save me from being fired for not having the move that I had planned originally, shes quoted as saying in an interview with Cauliflower Alley Club. Whatever the reason for the move being green-lit, it looks boss and has a great name, too.
