10 Things You Didn't Know About The Dudley Boyz
Surprising facts about those damn Dudleyz.
Bubba Ray's return at the 2015 Royal Rumble - and the raucous reaction he received - must have told the WWE everything they needed to know about the possibility of a Dudley Boyz comeback. The pair were one of the most unique components of the late Attitude Era, components of a legendary tag division, and bonafide ECW legends. There was no chance of a return falling flat, as proven when the entire Barclays Centre screamed at D-Von to get a table. The history of the Dudley Boyz is fairly well documented. They originated as part of the 'Dudleys' stable in ECW and ruled the tag division there, before jumping ship to the WWF and cementing their legacy in a pair of innovative TLC matches with Edge, Christian and the Hardys. After fighting on the side of the Alliance during the Invasion angle, they went their separate ways due to the demands of the subsequent brand split. Neither man's singles career took off, and they were released from the company in 2005. They landed in TNA, where they would become key members of the roster (especially Ray, who recently went on to enjoy two TNA World Heavyweight Championship reigns). Despite this, there are many hidden facts a lot of Dudley Boyz fans won't know. Here are eight surprising things you may not have known about Bubba Ray and D-Von.
