10 Times Wrestlers Brought Old Gimmicks Back (For One Night Only)

9. Dude Love (Raw 1000)

Mick Foley has had a variety of gimmicks throughout his career and it's easy to see which were the most popular. Mankind was one of the biggest stars in the Attitude Era, and Cactus Jack was known throughout multiple promotions. But where's the love for Dude Love?

Of all the characters at Mick's disposal, Dude Love seems to be the one that's forgotten among fans as he's made far fewer appearances on TV than any of the other Faces of Foley, which is a shame because he ended up being one of the early allies/rivals to a rising Stone Cold Steve Austin, winning the tag team titles and feuding over the WWF Championship. He made other appearances throughout the Attitude Era but the other two gimmicks of Mankind and Cactus Jack were just too popular, and Dude Love ended up as a third wheel.

Foley would continue as himself and his other two faces before and after his 2012 retirement but brought Dude Love back to the ring as a manager for Brodus Clay at Monday Night Raw's 1000th episode, where he fed Mr. Socko to Jack Swagger post-match and danced with the big man and his Funkadactyls.
