10 Times Wrestlers Had Incredibly Fragile Egos

9. Is Triple H F*CKING Going Over?

Another Triple H-themed entry, this one centred on his unwillingness to lose a predetermined professional wrestling match in accordance with the scripted direction.

Matthew Randazzo V revealed a legendary tidbit in the much-missed UK-based Power Slam magazine. It continues to live on in meme form. The story goes that a timid creative writer knocked on Triple H's door to go over the details of a RAW episode during the infamous Reign of Terror years.

20 minute promo, "the fact of the matter is", Harley Race only with lead in his ass cosplay main event: that was the usual format, and HHH wished to ensure that he was in for no surprises. "Am I f*cking going over?" Trips would ask, because it was the single most important question to ask. The fate of the company depended on it.

But on one occasion, no, he wasn't going over. He was scheduled to be disqualified (probably for kicking too much goddamn ass), but this wouldn't do. After grunting and ranting, the script magically changed. Triple H was f*cking going over, and he was f*cking going over clean. You see, a heel going over clean was best for business.

So, to recap, Triple H is not only sex on legs - he's as hard as nails as well.

Hell, the man is downright f*cking invincible-uh...
