10 Times Wrestlers Hijacked WWE Raw

2. Daniel Bryan€™s Occupy Raw Movement (March 10, 2014)

Whether accidental or not, WWE deserve credit for eventually capitalising on the incredible popularity of Daniel Bryan. Just a few years earlier, it had seemed inconceivable that Bryan would not only win the WWE World Heavyweight Title, but also headline WrestleMania to a rapturous reception from millions. In 2014, that's exactly what he did, but the build up to that moment was equally as memorable. On the March 10, 2014 edition of Monday Night Raw, Bryan led his own army or 'movement' in a takeover of the show. Just weeks before his big win at 'Mania, the 'Yes Movement' served to completely dominate proceedings on the flagship show. Fans and extras adorned in Daniel Bryan t-shirts converged on the ring and ringside areas, capping the show with an utterly bonkers display of passion. As if WWE didn't know what they had on their hands then, officials were left in no doubt that Bryan was the right man to feature at WrestleMania. The fans had demanded it.
