Mike Adamle will go down in history forever as the worst WWE announcer ever. It's an arguable point, because the company has had other stinkers, but Mike was so far out of his element that one expected John Goodman's character from The Big Lebowski to pop up and tell him to "shut the f*ck up".

He...was a nightly train wreck of bloopers.

Adamle's first major gaffe came during an insert promo at the 2008 Royal Rumble. When hyping the upcoming WWE Title match, the bumbling stick man referred to Jeff Hardy as "Jeff Harvey". Time seemed to stand still before Adamle then corrected himself by getting Hardy's surname correct, but the damage was done.

Other errors included Mike forgetting what the ring ropes are called and ad-libbing "the Samoan Bulldog" as a new nickname for Umaga. That didn't catch on, and neither did Adamle's work with the promotion. He just didn't get it from day one.
