10 Times WWE Mocked What Fans Hated
1. Baron Corbin
In 2018, fans started to feel like they saw too much of Baron Corbin. After being dubbed 'The Constable' and left in control of Raw, the vest-sporting heel hogged up the spotlight and received go-away heat on many nights.
Corbin was far from the only issue WWE had, but he made a perfect scapegoat nonetheless. Surely, fans wouldn't have believed a single performer was somehow responsible for the low ratings and harsh criticisms. Then again, fans didn't like Corbin either. So in December, WWE pointed the finger of blame his way.
The McMahon family appeared on Raw to call out 'The Constable' for a performance review. Receiving crowd pops along the way, each member of the family began to run down all of the things wrong with Raw as well as Corbin's myopic remedies.
WWE made fun of its own failures before, but this was a rare case in which the heads of the company called out a superstar and publically shamed him for their shortcomings. It was as if the fans said, "You suck!" and the bosses replied, "Yeah, he sucks!" The skit was more ribbing than punishment, as Corbin kept his spot on the main roster. Still, could you imagine if your boss blamed you for the failures of the entire company? It seems unfair, to say the least.
