10 Times WWE Ruined Bray Wyatt

1. Move To Raw And House Of Horrors

Not content with having “The Bug Match” be the final nail in a crappy coffin, Bray and Randy had their final match at Extreme Rules. The only problem? Just after WrestleMania, Bray was moved from SmackDown to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup. He went from a top dog on SmackDown to below Lesnar, Braun Strowman, possibly Samoa Joe, and Triple H whenever he decides to return on the heel ladder. He was then made to feud against a guy who was still on the other show.

As for the House of Horrors match itself, it was a masterclass in bad out-of-the-ring storytelling. It was the Hardy Compound videos from TNA minus the campy, wink-wink nod to the audience that this was actually a comedy. By the time the action went live to the ring, they had a basic brawl that was ended when Jinder Mahal (the guy Orton was feuding against on the correct show) interfered, and gave Wyatt the win. It was a rare feud win for Wyatt, only he didn’t end up with the WWE Championship, and had to watch as Mahal won it two weeks later, prompting the “Damn” tweet.

WWE keeps messing up such a great character, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to end anytime soon.
