10 Times WWE Ruined Something They Didn't Create

Hey, remember when the nWo were the coolest group in wrestling?

Broken Matt Hardy

Wouldn't it be sweet to see The Hardy Boyz move on from their nostalgia act on Raw and start using the 'Broken' gimmick that gave them so much notoriety in TNA? Matt already uses elements of the character on TV anyway, and it'd give the brothers something fresh to do in WWE, right?

But there's also a chance that Vince McMahon wouldn't get it.

If history has taught us anything, it's that McMahon doesn't enjoy pushing ideas he didn't come up with to the forefront of his programming. Who's to say with 100% confidence that the 'Broken' universe would be any different? This could be something The Hardyz do for a few months before it fizzles out.

Of course, it could also be a success, but to disregard the poor treatment of other non-WWE creations in the company would be foolish. Funnily enough, WWE should follow a popular phrase when it comes to such things, perhaps even putting a little topical twist in there:

If it ain't 'Broken', don't try to fix it...
