In fact, when it comes to the following staggeringly fresh moments in company history, you likely would've struggled to find a single thing or place on planet earth that was actually cooler than WWE at that precise moment in time.

So, from musical megastars brilliantly dragging the promotion into 2023, to cutting-edge contests making this often ridiculous wrestling product feel actually rather badass, these are those times when WWE remarkably couldn't have possibly been any cooler.

While there were certainly countless moments there when Vince McMahon's show was operating at an unrivalled level of awesomeness throughout the Attitude Era, arguably the most satisfying and must-see of the lot went down on the night of January 4, 1999.

Hilariously, with WCW attempting to get one over on their Monday Night Wars rivals, Tony Shiavone was infamously told to reveal the result of a pre-taped Raw WWE Championship bout between Mankind and The Rock on the live Monday Nitro show. And not long after defiantly stating "that's gonna put some butts in the seats", it did exactly that.

Hundreds of thousands of fans quickly turned the channel to see 'Mrs Foley's Baby Boy' win the big one.

But the shot of the hardcore underdog lifting WWE's top belt above his head actually ended up being the cherry on top of this undeniably cool cake.

The loveable anti-heroes D-Generation X were on hand to war with The Corporation at ringside. The boss was losing his damn mind as the madness unfolded. And then the iconic 'Bionic Redneck's theme smashed through the speakers as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin took out his arch-rival The Rock with a steel chair for the assist.

Everything that made the Attitude Era the coolest spell in company history, perfectly captured in about a minute of breathless insanity.
