10 Underrated NXT TakeOver Matches You Need To Revist

1. Sasha Banks Vs Becky Lynch – Unstoppable

Though this was a show famous for the debut of Samoa Joe, it was Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch who provided the best in-ring action of the night.

The two had actually formed an alliance heading into the 4-Way at TakeOver: Rival - an alliance that helped Banks win the match and the Women's Championship.

However, Lynch soon turned on her mentor, becoming a babyface in the process. She later became number one contender to Banks' belt, setting up this match at TakeOver.

This is the genesis of the Becky Lynch we know today - her style is a lot more hard-hitting, her in-ring presence feels a lot bigger, even her look is totally different than before. She's not The Man yet, but she's on her way.

The match is really good, as both women show why they were called up to the main roster mere months later. Describing it with words cannot do this match justice, but rest assured that it alone is worth the price of the WWE Network.

Unfortunately, this bout gets overlooked because Banks vs Bayley at Brooklyn happened just three months later.

However, if you're looking to educate yourself on underappreciated women's matches in WWE, then there's no better place to start than right here.
