10 Undertaker WWE Dream Matches We'll Never See

1. Sting

Could it have been anyone else? The Undertaker vs. Sting is a dream match that tops the lists of many fans, not just for The Undertaker, but as one of the biggest matches that has never happened. A lot like some of my other inclusions in this list, this is also a cheat entry of sorts.

Back in 1990, this match did take place in WCW. The Undertaker, working as the villainous 'Mean Mark' Callous was on his way out of the company to the greener pastures of the then-WWF. Sting was still rocking his more colourful garb and surfer look.

These men battled each other for years, but for the prize of television ratings during the Monday Night Wars. Ever since, fans have been clamouring to see this fantasy matchup take place. 2011 was the closest we ever got to seeing this match come to fruition, with Sting openly admitting he was offered a match with 'The Deadman' at Wrestlemania XXVII, which he turned down.

Once again, timing was the enemy for this potential clash. Sting joined WWE in November 2014 and went on to feud with Triple H and The Authority. Less than a year later, Sting was forced to take a step back from active competition after enduring a legitimate and serious neck injury.

It's essentially guaranteed that this match will never take place, but one cannot help but wonder how these living legends would have fared against each other.
