10 Unique Pitches To Save Struggling WWE Stars
6. Giovanni Vinci
If we're being honest, Giovanni Vinci may be a lost cause, as WWE went out of its way to make him look like a complete and utter failure.
He was the sacrificial lamb of Imperium for almost its entirety, booted out of the group, spent months away, came back with a retread of his fashionable model-esque gimmick that didn't work in NXT, lost a few matches within mere seconds, and promptly disappeared again. If he's on the roster just to lose to Apollo Crews in dark matches before SmackDown, that's not a career worth saving, and he might as well be released.
But there is a saying that if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Another phrase is that the third time's the charm. Maybe that can be the philosophy and this time, Vinci can take that model gimmick and be paired with Pretty Deadly.
Kit Wilson and Elton Prince are jokes, but they're fun to have around. Some comedic characters are necessary to keep the wheels turning. Vinci's biggest problem with this gimmick has always been that he's had no personality, but he could be the straight man to their jokester act.
