Ten months after her unanimous decision loss to UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko, Joanna Jedrzejczyk makes her long awaited return to the Octagon. However, if she believed that she'd get an easy match-up in her comeback fight, those thoughts were soon dashed as she faces the surging Michelle Waterson.

Waterson has looked brilliant in her last couple of fights, especially her absolute shellacking of Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC on ESPN 2 earlier this year. Although she hasn't finished an opponent since 2016, she's still an incredibly exciting fighter. Her ability to mix in spectacular kicks, judo throws and then move to fight-changing positions on the ground have made her a strong fan-favourite over the years.

However, despite her rise up the strawweight division, Jedrzejczyk is still a considerable threat to her. Not only has she got some of the best Muay Thai in the division, she's also exceptional at stuffing takedowns and keeping the fight standing. Neither fighter is perfect, but their styles should certainly make this fight an interesting tussle.
