It's not exactly a surprise for anyone to find out that pro wrestling is a very dangerous sport. These performers put their health and their bodies on the line whenever they step foot inside a wrestling ring, and as wrestling fans, we all know that. Daniel Bryan is currently out of action with a neck injury. Bad News Barrett had to drop the Intercontinental Title because of a badly separated shoulder. Tamina Snuka is out with a torn ligament in her knee. It's a part of the business we all know and hate. We just hope the "injury bug" isn't too major at one time, affecting person after person after person, causing for major rewrites of angles and matches, sometimes on the fly. However, beyond the torn ACL's, the separated shoulders, the torn biceps, and the broken ankles, wrestling has also seen its fair share of downright unusual injuries. Sometimes those injuries are unusual in the true sense, meaning that they're a particular type of injury that you just don't see very often. Other times, they're unusual because of the way they happened, or even where they happened. No matter why they're on the list, they're there because they made people do a double take, either when reading about them or seeing them happen. The common denominator between the items on this list is that everyone, at one point or another, was a contracted performer to the WWF or WWE. The injuries mentioned may or may not have occurred during their time of employment there, but working for Titan is the common theme.
