All Elite Wrestling welcomed its biggest crowd of the COVID-19 era to Daily's Place last night, having chopped its latest Dynamite special into two halves.

A prerecorded opening hour featuring Cody Rhodes vs. QT Marshall, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. MT Nakazawa and Kenny Omega, and more was shown on the big screen with additional noise piped in. The titular Blood & Guts match went down live, consuming the majority of the second hour. An unconventional style of presentation, perhaps, but this turned out to be another strong show to continue Dynamite's recent hot streak.

The Blood & Guts match wasn't without its issues but still fit the bill as a hateful headliner, with the image of a bloodied MJF standing atop the cage (and Chris Jericho's corpse) burned into the audience's minds forever. Ultimately, this will go down as one of the defining moments in The Salt of the Earth's rise.

There were Double Or Nothing implications aplenty as Hikaru Shida learned her pay-per-view opponent and Kenny Omega stepped closer to his own fate, with a big number one contender's match booked. Elsewhere, Britt Baker was focused in a squash match, Miro showed fire on the mic, and Darby Allin had a rough night.

Let's light the fuse...
