Kenny Omega Orange Cassidy
AEW

The much-discussed real-sport feel of AEW came into play last night, with the promotion using its rankings system to book two title matches for Double Or Nothing.

Britt Baker earned her Women's World Title shot after climbing to number one in her division's rankings. Meanwhile, Orange Cassidy and PAC are ranked number one and two in the men's division respectively, so they'll now go one-on-one to determine Kenny Omega's World Title opponent. Good, simple stuff that's true to AEW's original blueprint, proving, once again, that wins and losses matter here.

Omega was great in the segment that clarified the World Title situation. Openly mocking the idea of facing Cassidy for the go-eld, Omega wanted to fast-forward to PAC, who has defeated him before. Freshly Squeeze sauntered out, rested on Tony Schiavone's shoulder, and got bantered into the ground, with Omega taking his shades, popping them on MT Nakazawa, and telling Cassidy (who got an incredible reception from the crowd) he'd never ben championship material.

Not taking Orange Cassidy seriously is core to Freshly Squeezed's psychology and will allowing the babyface inroads should he be the one to face Omega. If not, PAC and Kenny have worked incredible matches in the past.
