10 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Fight For The Fallen (Jul 15)

Downs...

1. A Misplaced Squash

Brandi Rhodes
AEW

The Nightmare Sisters of Allie and Brandi Rhodes took their Dark storyline to Dynamite last night, demonstrating increased cohesion in spite of their divergent personalities as they squashed Kenzie Paige and former NXT wrestler MJ Jenkins.

Not a horrible bout by any means, though it felt weird and out of place on a show like this, disrupting the night's rhythm. Allie was the highlight, with her heel shtick as on-point as ever, though this would have been better served on a standard episode of Dynamite instead of Fight for the Fallen, as most of the other things on the show carried a mini-PPV feel.

The Sisters still feel words apart and times of character but their cooperation is improving. Even Dustin Rhodes looks like he's being won over, though it can't be long before Allie reveals her masterplan.
