10 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 29)

8. Heading North?

While an unsuccessful attempt at the tag titles may have perhaps set Rich Swann and Willie Mack back just a tad, it looks as if they're back in the hunt for the titles with a win over The Desi Hit Squad this week. Sure, Rohit Raju and Raj Singh aren't that high up the pecking order in Impact's tag team division, but a win's a win.

It was a fun match too, with Raju and Singh using some rather nifty tag team offence in an attempt to put their opponents away, while Mack and Swann ensured their experience got the better of the DHS this time around. An assisted neckbreaker off the ropes to Rohit would be enough for Rich and Willie to gain the three count here.

The North are slightly preoccupied with Naomichi Marufuji for the time being (assuming the non-handshake is leading to something more). However, Swann and Mack will surely be in the running to have a two on two opportunity at the World Tag Team Championships thereafter. Who else is there to challenge 'All Ego' and 'The Walking Weapon', other than these two?

Reno Scum?

Unlikely.
