Holy s***.

Seriously, what else can you say about Edge returning to the ring for the first time in nearly nine years? After his wife turned in a hell of a performance in the women’s Royal Rumble, Edge showed up at #21 and speared the life out of everyone, making it to the final three in the men’s Rumble.

Just hearing the ovation from the crowd reminded you of just how awesome Edge was and how much star power people like him brought to matches like this. As a surprise entrant, there was no topping this. The fact he still looked pretty good and seemed to have something in the tank rather than just being a nostalgia act made it even better.

Also, you've got to take note of Edge's face as he emerges from the smoke in his entrance. He was legit choked up coming out there, which made the moment all the more special.

The question is whether we’ll get more out of Edge in the lead-up to WrestleMania, or if this is a one-time deal. It’s worth noting that he eliminated AJ Styles, so you never know there…
