10 Vicious Wrestling Brawls Nobody Talks About

1. Edge Vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Raw, 28/2/2005)

Ask many wrestling fans of the time to name one Shawn Michaels match from 2005 and be prepared for countless 'WrestleMania 21 vs. Kurt Angle' answers. It's difficult to claim the 'Mania classic doesn't deserve such attention, but it isn't the only match from HBK's '05 that does.

Over a full month before he was battling Angle on the grand stage, a fired-up Michaels brought the house down on Raw alongside Edge. A 'Street Fight' that could easily have graced WrestleMania itself, the claret-fuelled nature of WWE Hall Of Famers going up against one another is as thrilling today as it was on 28 February 2005.

The beautiful way in which Edge collapses come the bout's finish brings the match to a perfect close, and that's only matched by Shawn's unrivalled sell-job once he's cut open and gushing blood all over the ring. This is precisely the kind of drama many WWE headliners are missing in 2017.

Watch it now, and prepare to be amazed.
