10 Ways To Book A British Stable As WWE's Dominant Force In 2015
10. Wade Barrett Returns And Wins The Intercontinental Title
When Wade Barrett got injured, it was incredibly unfortunate. He had done what Damien Sandow is now doing in that hed been given a bit of a crap gimmick but he made it must-watch television. When he initially returned as Bad News Barrett, it involved weeks of gavel banging and ridiculously large lecterns. On his in-ring return, however, the gimmick began to work as he not only delivered bad news he was bad news. He won a #1 Contenders Tournament and went on to beat Big E. at Extreme Rules. It was all set. The crowd were loving him and he was going up the card. Then he separated his shoulder after Jack Swagger threw him into a barricade. Momentum gone. His return would garner a great reaction from the crowd as we not only like a superstar returning from injury, weve also begun to really like Bad News Barrett. His first match should be for the Intercontinental Title he never lost. Rather perfectly, it would be against the monster bad guy, Luke Harper. It would be an all-out brawl between the two big men but finally, after a gator roll or two, Barrett would come back, lay on Wasteland before delivering the Bull Hammer for the 1-2-3. The crowd would cheer and Barrett would have immediately regained his momentum. The fact that the win would come against a heel would give the perfect opportunity for the crowd to cheer him because, God knows, theyre not going to get many chances after this...
