10 WCW Moments So Bad They’ll STILL Blow Your Mind

1. New Blood Misses Kevin Nash…Twice!

Blood tumbling from the rafters had been a key component of Russo's booking in the WWF, but made sense within the context of The Brood's vampire gimmick. In WCW, not so much. Claret only fell from upstairs because it was a lazy trope to lean on.

The company couldn't even get it right.

Kevin Nash was warring with Russo's New Blood faction in 2000. The Millionaire Club member had to suffer the red stuff on multiple episodes of TV, but it's two specific examples that stand out. In the first, the fake blood fell and totally missed him. Nash no-sold that in-ring as Russo and pals looked miffed on the ramp.

Things get worse.

For the second angle, WCW had Nash brawling in the aisle. Blood was meant to fall on him there too, but it kinda missed again and ended up soaking fans in the front few rows. Lovely! Imagine explaining that away upon getting home. 'Yeah, the wrestling company I like can't get anything right, so my new Ben Sherman shirt is ruined'.
