10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2024

1. Brock Lesnar

You can never rule him out, can you?

Firstly, WWE loves him. They have, time and time and time again, booked him to win major matches when there was really no need. He was more of a Vince McMahon guy and vice versa - he allegedly bailed SmackDown when Vince was first disgraced, before returning to the arena - and Triple H hasn't yet trolled the fans with a shock Lesnar win. If anything, under Triple H, Lesnar has played ball and put over Cody Rhodes.

As enjoyable as jolly farmer Brock Lesnar was, the 2023 heel version felt like a retread. The programme with Cody Rhodes was as excellent as it was formulaic, and really, it was shocking to see Lesnar lose the first programme he worked after turning. It felt like the end of Lesnar's time as a game-changer.

Lesnar can't lose his aura because he's Brock Lesnar - he can get it back just by throwing his knee into some poor sod's guts - but he doesn't quite feel the same.

He could retain that lurking, doom-mongering menace by winning the Rumble - and he's still a phenomenally impressive specimen and expert pro wrestler, so it makes too much sense not to heat him back up to that level.
