10 Worst WWE Wrestlers Of 2017

4. Lana

While attempting to push Lana as an in-ring competitor wasn't an inherently bad idea in itself, WWE's execution was a complete disaster that buried 'The Ravishing Russian,' sending her scampering back to her old managerial role with her stock lower than ever.

It started at Money In The Bank. Her and Naomi wrestled an awkward, disjointed bout for the SmackDown Women's Title, with Lana losing. Bizarrely, WWE then decided the best course of action was to have the managerial wunderkind fall in increasingly embarrassing fashion. This culminated in a brutal 10-second loss to the champ in July, and while Lana worked a handful of other bouts throughout the summer, the Naomi burials effectively tanked her singles career.

The experiment failed, and Lana's complete lack of seasoning was woefully exposed. Perhaps she'll develop into a functional in-ringer competitor someday, but it won't be anytime soon, as she's now stuck managing the listless Tamina on the midcard.

Regardless, Lana remains active on the house show circuit, primarily fighting on the losing side in multi-person tag bouts. Perhaps she wouldn't be on our list at all if WWE had given her this experience beforehand.
