10 Wrestlers AEW Must Push In 2022

9. Brody King

Speaking of exciting ROH imports, the frontman of God's Hate recently lit up Dynamite by joining forces with sinister fan favourite Malakai Black. Coming in at 6'5" and getting ever closer to the 300lbs mark on the scales, Brody King is a big, intimidating beast of a man.

Surprisingly agile for his heavy frame, King's look is one of the most distinctive in professional wrestling right now. Between the ever-growing, ever more demonic torso tattoos and enormous beard, the former Violence Unlimited leader is a larger-than-life menace.

Those who have seen his work in ROH and in indie promotions like PWG know full well what this inventive big man is capable of in the ring too. Boasting a sharp brawling style with some astute, technical mat work, King has been a cult favourite for several years now.

In AEW, alongside 'The Striking Man From Amsterdam', King ought to have a very high ceiling this year. The House of Black is very over with audiences right now and King's name was getting chanted before he even officially debuted on Dynamite. As a monster heel, it's perfectly plausible King butts heads with the best and brightest in the promotion this year.
