The lack of brand separation between the Raw and SmackDown Tag Titles right now (Undisputed, baby) means fresher teams like Braun Strowman and Ricochet have limited options for 'Mania. WWE also already burned through a 'Monster vs. Monster' battle between Braun and towering giant Omos over in Saudi Arabia.

They can't repeat that trick without people rolling their eyes.

Is Strowman turning on Rico something WWE could do? Sure, but that'd be a quick turn-around for two dudes who have started gelling as a combo and clearly have so much more to offer the tag ranks before splitting. Besides, even that doesn't guarantee them anything bigger than a pre-show spot in Hollywood.

Braun is one of those weird characters that some fans enjoy but rarely want to see work for the top prizes. That hurts his chances of rolling into WrestleMania and bagging the bumper cash boost every WWE star wants at this time of the year.
