It's hard to imagine a WWE universe that The Undertaker never stepped foot in. If he had stayed in WCW as Mean Mark, the wrestling would would be a vastly different place today.

Besides all the success and memorable moments he's delivered since 1990, there have also been countless wrestlers who are much better off because of his legendary run. Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Kane all owe at least part of their success to him. However, there were some wrestlers that even The Dead Man couldn’t get over.

While Taker has been a pretty solid worker over the course of his career, he’s not exactly Ric Flair. He can’t make anyone look like a million bucks. His opponents need to have at least some talent for the two to produce a good match.

Unfortunately, Vince McMahon has had a strange history of saddling his most respected employee with one giant lug after the next. The boss has always had a fondness for big man vs. big man matches, but a lot of the people that Taker faced off against were all size and no talent. Then there's the fact that not every wrestler work wells in supernatural storylines, which is where Undertaker has built his career off of.

So for every wrestler like Michaels, who became a bigger star because of The Phenom, there were a couple of duds who never had a shot of becoming viable main event acts after their feud ended. Here are 10 wrestlers that The Undertaker couldn’t get over.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
