10 Wrestlers Who Appeared In Recent TV Shows You Probably Missed

7. The Big Show (Van Helsing)

Syfy audiences are familiar with Paul Wight. Back in 2006 when WWE were airing ECW on the science fiction channel, The Big Show competed at the top of the card, making weekly appearances as the brand's champion during his five-month reign.

A lot has changed since then, but the seven-footer is still a mainstay on television, and Syfy is still cranking out guilty pleasure TV (albeit with a slightly more phonetic spelling to their channel name). The producers of vampire drama Van Helsing brought Show back to his old stomping grounds when they cast him last year. Wight appears as a gladiator named Carnage that lead character Violet has to vanquish in order to escape her vampire fight club.

Carnage acts as a kind of final boss, an unconquerable giant that should spell doom for Violet. But if the badass vamp had seen any of The Big Show Show, she'd know the statuesque Wight is little more than a 500-pound puppy dog.
