Johnnie Mae Young was a very special lady.

She was one of the pioneers of American women's wrestling. She's even credited with being the first woman ever to throw a dropkick on the continent of North America.

However, what she is most famous for is being battered by younger wrestlers well into her 80s.

Whether it was being hit with an Angle Slam, a top rope splash, or a powerbomb through tables, Mae took bumps that most performers in their prime would shy away from.

And she took them with style.

A decade after Bubba Ray Dudley powerbombed her off a stage, Mae Young took part in her final ever match.

In 2010, on an episode of Old School Raw, Young was being taunted by co-Divas Champions (don't ask) LayCool.

Michelle McCool and Layla antagonised Mae so much that the Hall of Famer challenged them to a Falls Count Anywhere match, which the champions gleefully accepted.

As soon as the bell rang, the women's locker room emptied and took down the champions, allowing Mae to put her foot on Layla for the win.

At 87 years and 248 days old, Mae Young is the oldest person ever to wrestle a match, as well as the first person to wrestle in nine different decades.

Legend doesn't even cover it.
