10 Wrestlers Who Could Be AEW's Joker In Dynamite's Casino Ladder Match
1. 'Hangman' Adam Page
It was crucial that AEW didn't bring Adam Page back last Wednesday.
The Rochester, New York show acted as a fitting tribute to Mr. Brodie Lee on a night that saw the Dark Order solve their issues at the behest of -1 and Amanda Huber. Had Page returned to fix the group for them, it would have detracted a great deal from the heartwarming moment; Page's return is simply too big a moment.
He was the inaugural Joker. At Double Or Nothing 2019, it wasn't much of a surprise when he sauntered out, knee injury and all, as he was always expected to be there in some capacity. When he lastly clotheslined MJF out of the ring, the reaction was raw. Page had come far since first being a goober in Ring Of Honor.
But oh my, how his career has changed between May 2019 and October 2021.
The AEW World Title has literally evaded Page for his entire AEW career. He lost to Chris Jericho at All Out 2019 to crown the inaugural champion and has struggled to pick up another crack at the strap.
He is dethroning Kenny Omega, though. Whether it happens at Full Gear or not, he's the only correct pick. AEW can easily build an enjoyable story out of Omega vs. Page II, but to avoid the rankings system debacle, Page winning the Casino Ladder match is the suitable option.
