1. 'King' Baron Corbin

What People Say: Baron Corbin didn't deserve to retire Kurt Angle; he's bland on the mic and he's become that WWE-style buffoonish heel who barely worked back in 1995. Somehow, Vince McMahon can't see what everyone else can: Corbin is rubbish, his 'King' gimmick crap and he should be binned immediately.

Why He Deserves Respect: He's not actually rubbish, and he definitely shouldn't be removed from TV.

Corbin is unlikeable, yes, but he's a heel. It's almost laughable that the same people who would tell you they loved seeing The Rock shut him down pretend that has nothing to do with Baron. They enjoyed it (at least partly) because he's so insufferably arrogant as a character. Otherwise, fans would've sat in silence during SmackDown's FOX debut.

Another thing: Corbin deserves credit for making wrestling's modern-day noose, that 'King' gimmick, work so far. His Game Of Thrones garb, tweaked entrance theme and promos are played so over-the-top that they're hardly meant to be taken seriously. He's effective as a horse's ass and gets a reaction whether anyone wants to admit it or not.
