6. Vic Grimes

With a long memory and a short fuse, ECW's 'Natural Born Killa' had waited years to take revenge on Vic Grimes years removed from a terrifying fall that nearly polished both men off.

Battling at March 2000's Living Dangerously pay-per-view, the two were fighting atop a humongous scaffold in a chaotic scene that pushed Jack's prior balcony exploits beyond the pale.

According to various interviews New Jack has since conducted on the incident, Grimes allegedly lost faith in the safety of the the planned 30 foot tumble through a single table, but Jack lead the pair to the ground all the same.

Hauling himself and his opponent from the structure, Jack took the worst of things as neither men had great control on the descent. Grimes landed with the full force of his weight on Jack's head, causing nerve damage that almost cost the 'Original Gangsta' his sight.

It was an unpleasant accident, but didn't warrant the bloodthirsty revenge Jack attempted to take years later.

Wrestling for sub-ECW Philadelphia knock-off Xtreme Pro Wrestling, the two fought in a scaffold match which ended when Jack launched the bulky Grimes from the raised platform through countless tables below. Missing the majority of the stacked wood, Grimes caught one or two before lifelessly bouncing off the top rope.

As it turned out, Jack hadn't quite managed what he'd intended. He later admitted that he'd wanted to throw Grimes hard enough for the former 'Baldies' member to crack his skull on the ringpost. A close call had never looked so painful.
