Or, in pro wrestling parlance, those who shout loudly enough get big fat contracts with small print you probably wouldn't believe. Of course, anyone hoping to stick some tasty clauses into their deal has to be important in the first place - you're not gonna' see Steve Blackman demanding a WrestleMania push or to be flown first class via his own aircraft in this article, for example.

Nothing against the 'Lethal Weapon', but he wasn't nearly enough of a big star to start stamping his feet and asking for things that'd normally make Vince McMahon choke on his protein bars. Others did though. They were more than happy to make demands that might sound totally outrageous when looking back now.

Again, they could only do this because they shared one thing in common: IMPORTANCE. Only one example on this list involves a wrestler who didn't put any butts in seats, and he was tied to a celebrity who very much did. Nobody should overlook the power of bankable star quality, or how far being a ballsy bastard can take someone...
