10 Wrestlers Who NEED A Huge 2024

1. Andrade El Idolo

The curious case of Andrade El Idolo will mystify historians for years to come. There doesn’t seem to be any reason as to why he’s not a top guy, and yet with the brief exception of his NXT run, that potential never seems to be met.

On landing in AEW, it felt that the world would finally be his oyster, but this has never come to fruition. Few wrestlers of his talent have been so prone to disappearing off TV altogether, and his PPV bouts can be counted on one hand.

The dawn of Collision seemed like a clean slate for Andrade, who felt like one of the faces of the show. This lasted for a couple of weeks, in which he scrapped with House Of Black about a mask, but that seems to have fallen by the wayside too. The client-manager relationship with CJ Perry is thin gruel, especially as it’s pretty likely that angle ends with Miro battering him.

While Andrade can still be called upon for a scorching TV match, a man of his talents needs far more of a spotlight than he’s had for the past five years plus. 2024 needs to be his year.
