10 Wrestlers Who Need One WWE Match (And Who They Should Face)
3. CM Punk
Now that the dust has (sort of) settled on CM Punk's acrimonious divorce from WWE, murmurs of a return are beginning to gather a head of steam (although expectations have been dampened by his own deafening silence on the matter).
In wrestling, though, you never say never, and if Punk ever does fancy getting back in the squared circle, you have to believe WWE - where he can make the most money - would have at least a snowball's chance in hell of landing his signature (which is a chance all the same).
In his first run, Punk's defining rivalry was, of course, with John Cena, but things have changed. These days, Roman Reigns runs the wrestling yard, and putting his heavily-marketed face up against Punk's anti-establishment shtick seems like an obvious ratings winner.
