Le Champion is just the gift that keeps on giving.

In a career spanning nearly 30 years, Chris Jericho has constantly evolved, has constantly impressed, and has constantly remained one of the very best in the business. And right now, Jericho is still one of the hottest acts in the industry and is the figurehead of the wrestling world's shiny new toy.

Jericho is one of those all-time great talents where it's impossible to pick a nailed-on 'best ever' year for him, but it's hard to argue that the Canadian hasn't hit his peak here in 2019. After all, he's currently the World Champion of a billionaire-fronted new wrestling promotion, and he's been absolutely killing it in the ring and on the mic across the globe throughout these past 12 months.

Nobody is better than Chris Jericho right now. Despite having hit 49 years of age this year, The Painmaker has been outshining and outworking so many of his younger peers.

Not content with having a new promotion on his back, Jericho's 2019 also saw him tangle with Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada over in New Japan Pro Wrestling, as he continues to grow his own brand in addition to being one of the key factors in pushing All Elite Wrestling out to the world.

Does it get any better than this for Chris Jericho? It likely shouldn't, but then with Jericho, he'll somehow come up with something to make 2020 even better than 2019.
