10 Wrestlers Who Peaked In WWE Developmental

4. Keith Lee

Health problems have wrecked any momentum Keith Lee had, but poor AEW booking has also been a real problem. Of course, Lee's health is the most important thing. Unfortunately, he can't be the same Keith he was on NXT between 2018-2020. That's become crystal clear, and it's depressing for those who badly wanted the man to blow up into a major star.

2019 Keith Lee might as well be ancient history, never mind five years ago.

A shockingly poor run on WWE's main roster in 2021 led to his departure. The wrestling world cheered when Tony Khan picked Lee up as a free agent in early-2022. Now everyone would see the great things this dude was capable of, right? Right?! Not quite. It turns out Vince McMahon's 'Bearcat' stinker wasn't the only thing holding Keith back.

Again, it's important to mention Lee's health issues. They've been crippling for his career. However, when healthy, nothing he's been doing in AEW has matched his NXT output. That was then and this is now. Keith Lee 2K19 was on fire, and that was peak 'Limitless'.

It's been all downhill since.
