And while taking some time off to focus on your mental health is something of a refreshing development in modern times, but is something Jax would seemingly pay the price for last year as WWE opted to cut her loose mid-mental health break, her reasons for walking out on the flagship a few years earlier very much felt like history repeating itself.
With the one-time Raw Women's Champion very much being involved in a storyline with then-reigning champ Alexa Bliss on the red brand in October 2017, news of Jax reportedly being granted a leave of absence from the company after walking out on Raw due to her apparent issues with pay and her booking at that time came as a shock to some.
This also came around the time the star had been said to have spoken to her WWE icon cousin The Rock about not wanting to lose cleanly to Sasha Banks at the TLC PPV, to which The Great One advised her to step away if she wasn't in the mood to do the J.O.B.
